CPSA News Magazine - To The Point

CPSA produces a full-color news magazine, To The Point, for its members. The magazine focuses on the fine art medium of colored pencil and activities of CPSA. To The Point is published twice annually, each January and June, and is mailed to CPSA members as a benefit of membership. Reach averages between 1,500 and 1,600 member artists.

Articles and News Item Submissions

Members may submit articles and accomplishments to Vera Curnow, Editor, at founder by the submission deadlines:

January Issue - October 1
June Issue - March 15

Only items featuring colored pencil please! News must be within six months of the event.


  • Awards won in a juried competition
  • Featured artist in a gallery
  • Work included in a publication
  • Participation in a solo exhibition
  • Participation in an invitational group exhibition
  • Receipt of an art grant
  • Inclusion in a museum or corporate collection
  • Commission by organization, company or institution
  • Judge or juror for an exhibition
  • Author of a book or magazine article


  • Your name and state
  • Award(s) won
  • Solo or invitational group show
  • Number of cp works in show
  • Name of show, publication, etc.
  • Dates and location (city, state) of show

Example: Jane Doe (FL) received an Honorable Mention in the May "Our Town" Exhibit sponsored by the West End Art Club. She will exhibit 12 colored pencil paintings in a solo show at the You Name It Gallery in Atlanta, GA during July.

Payment: Check (payable to CPSA) must be sent to your contact (details in Ad Rates PDF) at the time the ad is placed.
